The Journey
From Alaska to Brisbane.
On January 22nd, 2025, Lachlan set off from Alaska in the depths of winter on a mission that had never been attempted, the 50 States Marathon Challenge, then across the Pacific to run all 8 Australian states and territories. A marathon every day for 58 consecutive days.
Blizzards in Alaska. Sub-zero temperatures across the American midwest. The Nevada desert. Humid Hawaiian coastlines. And the summer heat of the Australian Outback. Every day, a new marathon, a new state, and new challenges.
58 days later, on March 20th, 2025, he crossed the finish line in Brisbane.

A movement for mental health.
In Australia, suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 44. This challenge was never just about running, it was about starting conversations, breaking stigma, and raising vital funds.
Every kilometre was in partnership with the Mental Awareness Foundation. Every dollar raised funds mental health resources and community support.
$162,000 raised. 58 communities touched. Over 4 million people reached through media coverage, social content, and community events.
